I’ve partnered with multiple departments across Douglas County to produce impactful video content that informs, educates, and engages the public. From promotional videos for Mental Health Awareness Night with the Omaha Lancers, to emergency preparedness content for Douglas County Emergency Management, to storytelling pieces for the Health Department and Community Mental Health Center—I’ve helped bring vital initiatives to life on screen. My work also includes podcast videos for the Department of Corrections and multimedia support for the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.

National Severe Weather Preparedness Month
The goal of this social media campaign was to inform and educate the public about ways we can stay Weather Ready Together during severe weather season. Douglas County launched this social media campaign during March 2025, which is Severe Weather Preparedness Month. I collaborated with local emergency management agencies and the National Weather Service on this video production effort, which included interviewing, lighting, shooting, editing and producing these short video reels for Facebook and X.
The Importance of Working Together:
Severe weather can strike at any time, and staying informed is key to keeping our communities safe. That’s why the Douglas County Emergency Management Agency and Sarpy County Emergency Management Agency work closely with the local National Weather Service Office to ensure timely alerts, reliable information, and a coordinated emergency response.

Douglas County Health Department – Credible Mind Website Launch
As part of the
Mind Matters: Let’s Talk
campaign, I produced a series of promotional videos for the launch of the Douglas County Health Department’s new mental health resource website:
douglascounty.crediblemind.com. This first video, narrated by Leah Casanave, premiered at Omaha Storm Chasers games in May, reaching thousands with a message of support and accessibility.
A second video featuring Dr. Lindsay Huse, Director of the Health Department, further promoted the campaign and emphasized the county’s commitment to mental wellness. Together, both videos helped introduce a vital online resource to the Douglas County community in a clear, approachable, and compelling way.
Douglas County Community Mental Health Center
2024-2025 Community Mental Health Center Overview Video
In collaboration with the Omaha Lancers, I developed a full visual campaign for Mental Health Awareness Night, an impactful event that brings together more than 3,400 people to raise awareness and remind our community:
“You are NOT alone.” I designed the promotional graphics for social media, the Douglas County employee newsletter, and event marketing—ensuring cohesive messaging and visual impact across multiple platforms. Nearly 200 Douglas County employees and their families attended in support of mental health awareness, showing the power of community in action.

Douglas County Department of Corrections
GED Graduation Ceremony for Incarcerated Individuals
Time is a powerful force, shaping our lives in unexpected ways. And for these incarcerated individuals, they turned their time behind bars into an opportunity for growth and education. The Douglas County Department of Corrections has offered GED programs for incarcerated individuals for decades, but this was the first-ever graduation ceremony for individuals still incarcerated. These incredible men and women have earned their GED, proving that time apart from loved ones can be a period of transformation and achievement.
Douglas County Community Corrections GED Graduation
Thirteen individuals who were formerly incarcerated at the Douglas County Department of Corrections received their GED diplomas. These graduates are now either out of the system completely or a part of Douglas County Community Corrections. And I'm so grateful for the opportunity to help shine a light on these incredible men and women working hard to better their lives. Douglas County remains committed to providing opportunities and resources for success. It does not matter if you have a history at Corrections, everyone deserves a chance.
