Douglas County, Nebraska
Government
I've had the ongoing opportunity to collaborate with Douglas County on a wide range of creative projects aimed at increasing public awareness and civic engagement. My work has involved developing and executing social media campaigns to highlight county government services and initiatives. This includes shooting and producing Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos that spotlight events, programs, and the people behind the scenes.
These efforts have helped promote the important work of various Douglas County departments and agencies, including the Douglas County Emergency Management Agency (DCEMA), Environmental Services, Health Department, Health Center, Community Mental Health Center, Treasurer's Office, 911 Communications, Sheriff's Office, Clerk/Register of Deeds, Human Resources, and more. From severe weather preparedness to mental health awareness and public health campaigns, each project has aimed to deliver informative, engaging, and accessible content for residents throughout the community.
I've worked to create impactful, on-brand graphics for a variety of internal and external campaigns. From severe weather preparedness to mental health awareness and public health campaigns, each project has aimed to deliver informative, engaging, and accessible content for residents throughout the community.

Mental Health Awareness Night
Douglas County partners with The Omaha Lancers for Mental Health Awareness Night
In collaboration with the Omaha Lancers, I developed a full visual campaign for Mental Health Awareness Night, an impactful event that brings together more than 3,400 people to raise awareness and remind our community: “You are NOT alone.” I designed the promotional graphics for social media, the Douglas County employee newsletter, and event marketing—ensuring cohesive messaging and visual impact across multiple platforms. Nearly 200 Douglas County employees and their families attended in support of mental health awareness, showing the power of community in action. In addition to graphic design, I produced a high-energy promo video to generate excitement for the event, along with an in-depth overview video of the Community Mental Health Center, spotlighting the essential mental health services available to Douglas County residents. I also captured high quality photos of the event for social media.
This project demonstrates my ability to create purposeful, multi-platform content that informs, inspires, and builds community engagement.

Severe Weather Preparedness Month
Douglas County partnership with The National Weather Service (Omaha/Valley, Nebraska)
As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Month, I partnered with Douglas County and the National Weather Service (Omaha/Valley, NE) to create an engaging multi-platform campaign aimed at keeping our community safe and informed. I shot and produced a series of testimonial videos featuring local emergency managers and meteorologists, sharing real stories and essential tips to emphasize the importance of being ready when severe weather strikes. These videos became the heart of the #WeatherReadyTogether campaign—encouraging the public to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts, know when to take shelter, and stay informed. To complement the video content, I also designed branded graphics for social media, reinforcing the campaign’s key messages with a bold, consistent visual identity.
This project highlights my ability to produce strategic, mission-driven content that blends video storytelling and design to drive public awareness and safety.
